Boogie Johnson shines at oregon football's saturday night live event

Boogie Johnson headed back to Eugene August 1st  to participate in Oregon's largest recruiting event of the year, Saturday Night Live. His 2nd visit, along with other commits and potential recruits  made the event one of the most exciting, and highly anticipated to date.   Johnson got the chance to go through work outs and get some action on the field. "It was amazing to finally show in person why I was given the chance to play for Oregon. Many now know I'm the real deal." he says. Hard work is certainly paying off and we at C2C are glad now more can witness it too. Keep grinding Boogie!

HE'S signed, sealed and ready to deliver!
STEPHON "BOOGIE" JOHNSON signs TO
Oklahoma state university

Though Stephon "Boogie" Johnson committed to Oregon, after much consideration he decided to re-open his recruitment after major changes with the university's coaching staff.

C2C's VERY OWN AALIYAH CHARGOIS'S TRIUMPH AFTER MAJOR SURGERY

Our very own Aaliyah affectionately called "Mighty Mouse", is back on the track making a name for herself in long distance track. She is currently running the 800, 1500, and 3200. It has been a trying road back to the sport for her.  Aaliyah was diagnosed with Scoliosis, which is an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine. The condition progressed so rapidly, that it began to affect her organs, including her respiratory system.  Aaliyah underwent surgery to correct this condition, and has since started her comeback to the sport of  track and field, her first love. She was recently featured on the Kalling Plays with Kailey podcast. Kailey the host of the show asked Aaliyah, did she ever doubt if she would run again. In Mighty Mouse fashion, Aaliyah affirmed she knew she would always run again. "Track is what I love to do." "I was just frustrated with the wait to return," she says.  Aaliyah is one of the original Coast2CoastAthletics track team members. She came to work with Coach Stephon along with her siblings, after their mom, Dominique Chargois asked if they would be interested in running. Her mom also has a history of competing in track and field. "Mighty Mouse has always been a powerhouse in a tiny package," Coach J proudly states. (She stands 5'4 to this date.) "I'm proud of how she has tackled getting back into the sport after such a major surgery. That the will that has always been in her." Coach J says. One of the qualities she knows she has always had was the strength and will to succeed and overcome obstacles in the sport of track and field. When asked what would you tell people about the sport? Aaliyah honestly says, track and field is not easy, you must be disciplined in order to be successful but it is so worth it. We are keeping our eyes on you Mighty Mouse. There are wonderful accomplishments up ahead.

LONG LIVE TREY THOMAS
#17

This summer we lost one of our C2C Family. Trey Thomas passed away this summer due to a illness. We are truly saddened  by his passing and our prayers and love are with his family. Trey was one of the heartbeats of our organization. Always ready to work, learn, and ready to compete. He did it with such poise and with that trademark smile that was infectious. He was on track to be one of the most special players to play the game. "Our guys have truly been affected by the lost of Trey, Boogie and Trey have known each other since they were 7 years old." Coach J says.

The C2C family loves you Trey, you will truly be missed,

We promise to make sure your memory is never forgotten.

Jonovan  "JP" Foreman Closes High School Football Chapter

File_000.jpeg

What can we say about this young man? Our quiet giant, the Silent Assassin as we love to call him closes out his high school football career. After 4 awesome years, 3 with Houston Heights, this chapter is  a wrap. The C2C Family is beyond proud of you! You've worked so hard over the years, you can truly say you left everything on that field every time. You only had one mission on your mind, "Help my team." Heart of gold, a young man of faith, and an unshakable quiet  confidence in yourself, that's the JP we love.   From the time Coach J met you, he knew that you would not only be a great young man to support and train, but you would  be a bonus son and that was just that. Coach J is grateful to have been apart of your process, but most importantly your life.  Every training session, every correction, every road trip, you took everything in, and trusted the process. You've been a complete joy, and we cannot wait to take those road trips to Kansas. On to Pittsburgh!!   #30out
